Unmatched: Slings and Arrows

Unmatched: Slings and Arrows is a complete two-to-four-player set for the Unmatched tactical combat system. Each turn grants two actions—maneuver, scheme, or attack—but every fighter’s deck changes how those fundamentals are used. William Shakespeare strings card titles into lines of iambic pentameter for powerful bonuses. Hamlet shifts between To Be and Not To Be, balancing stronger attacks against better card flow. Titania and Oberon manipulate a separate faerie deck, while the three Wayward Sisters collect ingredients and brew effects in their cauldron. Movement takes place across the Globe Theatre battlefield, where zones and line of sight determine who can attack. Combat itself contains no dice: attacker and defender secretly choose cards, compare values, and resolve effects in a precise timing order. Defeating an opposing hero ends the duel, while team and free-for-all formats support four players. Six miniatures, four full action decks, health dials, sidekicks, tokens, and the battlefield are included. Every fighter can be mixed with heroes and maps from other Unmatched boxes, and the set also integrates with cooperative Unmatched Adventures releases for players who want to take its literary cast against automated villains.
