Overview
The card deck in Indiscretion, a.k.a. Scan, is the standard four-suited, 52-card deck – but the back of each card is color-coded to reveal the suit of the card to all players. Any classic card game can be played with this deck, and the published edition of Scan includes several variations for team or individual play with 2-6 players, with the primary game being a trick-taking partnership game for four players in which each team attempts to capture cards that have positive value (spades are +10 points, hearts +5) while avoiding cards with negative value (clubs are -10 points, diamonds -5). The Hit-Serie editions from Piatnik got an additional rule booklet with 10 games invented by nowadays famous designers.
