Replay value

Letres has a high replayability score due to its high variability gameboard, impactful expansions, deep strategic possibilities, and good scalability. It offers a fresh experience each time it is played and allows players to improve their strategy over time. The game adapts well to different player counts without compromising its appeal or balance. While it may take some time to learn, the depth it offers makes it worth the effort.

Luck profile

Letres has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. However, players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

What ABG knows about this game

Kind of like Scrabble with cards. Be the first player to to make a word using ALL of the cards in your hand. The dealer decides how many this is, from 3 to 8, and can change from one hand to the next. The more cards that you deal, the more challenging the play. If, for example, the dealer deals 5 cards, then only words with 5 letters can be made. Each letter in that word is then worth a certain number of points, giving you a score for that hand. The first player to reach a pre-determined score wins.
