Become a pioneering astronomer at the turn of the seventeenth century. Move your telescope around a personal action rondel to observe planets and constellations, improve colored dice, write in your library, lecture at the university, and upgrade the action tiles that will rotate after every turn. Discoveries and academic progress build prestige, but new ideas attract inquisitors who can damage your reputation unless carefully managed—or turned to your advantage. Variable astronomers, objectives, and discovery cards make each scientific career a fresh optimization problem.
