As a clan elder in the shogun’s capital, build prestige through missions ranging from discreet commerce to assassination. Bid for weapons, annexes, geisha, and other assets; assign disciples across Edo; then resolve district actions while events and the watch patrol disrupt carefully laid plans. Mission cards reward prepared combinations and precise timing. The Deluxe Master Set revises the original game and adds modular systems—including the tea house, specialists, solo and cooperative play, and configurable interaction—so groups can tune Yedo from less punitive strategy to a fiercely confrontational contest.
