Warhammer 40,000: Conquest is a two-player Living Card Game about controlling the Traxis sector. Each player builds around a warlord and faction deck, then alternates deployments of units, supports, and attachments across a row of planets. Both warlords secretly commit to a destination, creating a tense reveal before command struggles distribute the cards and resources needed for later rounds. Battles then resolve at the first planet and wherever a warlord is present, with alternating attacks, shields, routing, and faction-specific abilities giving every card multiple tactical uses. Capturing three planets that share a matching symbol wins the campaign; defeating an enemy warlord—first bloodying it, then striking again—wins immediately. Faction alignment rules expand deck construction without erasing identity, while the fixed core set establishes the card pool rather than randomizing boosters. Conquest combines strategic positioning, an interactive economy, and highly consequential combat in a compact head-to-head format.
