Via Nebula is a route-building game about reclaiming a valley after a long age of darkness. On each turn, a player takes two actions from a concise menu: explore a mist tile, open an exploitation site, transport a resource to a construction site, erect a building by completing a contract, or place a new construction site. Cleared terrain and open routes are shared, so one player’s infrastructure can accelerate everyone else. Resources are limited and cannot be reserved once an exploitation site opens; if a rival takes the exact goods a contract needs, a promising turn can unravel. Completing contracts places buildings, grants immediate abilities or endgame scoring, and steadily fills each player’s five-building supply. Explore tokens reward difficult terrain, while surviving resources and uncompleted obligations can become liabilities. As soon as someone constructs a fifth building, the final round begins and prestige decides the winner. The board offers two maps and a focused action system, producing an approachable Martin Wallace design where cooperation is temporary, timing is tactical, and every useful road may also be a gift to an opponent.
