Draft a team of two fighters, combine their asymmetric card sets, and begin with a deck only two cards long. Each round, the fight resolves automatically from top to bottom: attacks land, blocks absorb damage, power builds, and special abilities bend the sequence. Between rounds, add one new card anywhere in your deck without rearranging what is already there. That single restriction turns every upgrade into a programming puzzle as you build longer combos, exploit partner effects, and anticipate the order your opponent is constructing.
