Sweet Lands is a heavyweight city-building Euro set in a kingdom of confectionery. Over five rounds, each player develops a personal hex map, places terrain and buildings, recruits townsfolk, and advances a network of prosperity tracks. More than two hundred cards and fourteen asymmetric characters create distinct production engines and scoring routes, while hundreds of wooden pieces make each growing city tangible. The central systems are approachable one at a time, but their dependencies create a broad optimization puzzle: shape the land, unlock the right infrastructure, and convert a carefully timed economy into the most prosperous claim to the throne.
