Raising Robots is a simultaneous engine-building game in which every player becomes an inventor assembling a personal team of machines. Each of eight rounds begins with players secretly programming batteries beneath action cards for upgrade, assemble, design, fabricate, and recycle. When choices are revealed, the amount of power committed determines how strongly each action fires. The clever catch is that reaching the most powerful threshold also supplies energy to opponents who selected the same action, so an ambitious turn can accelerate the whole table. Inventor abilities and asymmetric starting resources shape early priorities, while newly assembled robots form coloured rows that produce resources, points, discounts, and chained effects when activated. Upgrades improve both the power grid and the efficiency of future actions; designs broaden the robot market; fabrication converts materials into machines; and recycling keeps an awkward hand from stalling the workshop. Because everyone plans together, the game supports up to six without turning each round into a long sequence of individual turns. After the eighth round, completed robots, end-game bonuses, upgrades, and inventor objectives determine whose collection has earned the greatest reputation.
