Overview

What ABG knows about this game

Quadwrangle is dice game played with a board with 9 columns. Each column has a counter that starts in the middle and you attempt to move a counter by rolling certain dice combinations to your scoring area. (It is a bit like playing 9 games of tug of war simultaneously.) The winner is the first to get 3 counters in their scoring area. The dice are rolled in a manner similar to Yahtzee: Roll 5 dice. Keep the ones and reroll the rest. You may reroll up to three times. The nine columns are marked: - Number (from 1-6): Roll a pair of those numbers move the counter 1 space in the column, triple 2 spaces, etc. - Run: You are trying to roll a straight (12345 for 2 spaces, or 23456 for 3 spaces) - High/Low: You are trying to roll a total over 23 or under 12. There are bonuses for rolling more extreme totals. 1996 Mensa Select Reimplemented as: Kniffel Duell / Cosmic Cows
