Loony Quest transforms a video-game platform level into a fast drawing challenge played on the table. A level card shows targets to hit, walls to avoid, paths to trace, or creatures to connect. Everyone studies it for thirty seconds, then the level is hidden from easy view and each player draws a solution on a separate transparent screen. When time expires, the screens are placed over the level one by one. Accurate lines earn experience points, while collisions, missed targets, and forbidden zones cost them. Bonus tokens can help, but penalty tokens introduce gleeful physical handicaps such as drawing with an awkward grip or with an obstacle in the way. Seven illustrated worlds contain forty-two levels, including boss encounters that change the drawing objective. Because all players draw simultaneously, there is almost no downtime, and a perfect-looking route can become hilarious the moment it is overlaid. After the chosen sequence of levels, the player with the most experience wins. Memory, spatial judgment, and steady hands matter—but laughing at spectacular near misses is the real constant.
