Legacy: The Testament of Duke de Crecy follows one noble house through three generations in pre-revolutionary France. Each marriage adds a spouse to a branching family-tree tableau, then children extend the dynasty and unlock the next generation’s possibilities. Actions gather income, friends, prestige, titles, enterprises, mansions, and missions, while every potential spouse brings nationality, profession, connections, and a personal effect that can reshape the family’s plans. The puzzle is both economic and spatial: a profitable match today may create the right descendant for a mission years later, while scandal, illness, and awkward lineage can narrow future choices. At the end, contributions, estates, titles, secret goals, and the completed family history determine whose name truly endures.
