Table feel

Hasp has a high level of direct confrontation and strategic depth in confrontation. Players must frequently pay attention to and react to each other's strategies. However, there is less emphasis on cooperation in the game.

Replay value

Hasp offers a high degree of variability with its gameboard, multiple paths to victory, and variable setups. The expansions available add new content and gameplay elements, enhancing the replay value. The game provides deep strategic possibilities and room for players to improve their tactics over time. The player interaction score is average, and the game scales well with different numbers of players. While it may take some time to learn, the easiness to learn score is moderate. Overall, Hasp has a strong replayability score of 7.8.

Luck profile

Hasp has a moderate influence of luck. Random elements like dice rolls or card draws have a notable but not exclusive impact on the game outcome. Players have substantial ability to mitigate randomness through strategic decisions and planning. The game outcome is primarily determined by player strategy and decisions, with luck playing a minor role.

Overview

The children of Zura are tasked with finding valuable objects that are useful to the village’s important adults: roots for the cook, plants for the medicine woman, precious stones for the inventor, and bones for the venerable shaman. In Hasp, the players will be playing out cards with different strengths and values. In a standard four-player game, players play in two teams of two and after playing seven tricks, they assess which team won the round, then start a new round. The first team to reach 12 points wins the game. Players predict the outcome of each round, and if they miscalculate, the victory points will be awarded to their opponents instead! —description from the publisher
