Read the full game description

Emberleaf is a competitive strategy game set in a woodland recovering from catastrophe. Each player leads a fellowship of animal heroes charged with rebuilding homes, clearing dangerous terrain, and restoring the forest. Hero cards provide action icons that can be arranged and combined on a personal board; their placement determines which actions become available and how efficiently they chain together. Players gather resources, recruit additional heroes, construct settlements, explore the shared landscape, and complete contracts that reward focused development. Placing polyomino-like tiles creates a spatial puzzle as buildings, paths, and cleared areas compete for limited room. Heroes grow through use, giving the card engine a sense of progression and encouraging distinct combinations from game to game. Interaction comes through races for shared locations, objectives, recruits, and contract opportunities rather than direct destruction. A solo mode replaces opponents with a structured challenge, while the full player range preserves the same core decisions. Success comes from turning a small, awkward fellowship into a coordinated team whose actions rebuild more of the forest with every round.
