Dragon Eclipse is a solo or two-player adventure in which taming elemental creatures is inseparable from mastering their card-driven combat styles. The campaign follows a party through a world transformed by an eclipse, presenting exploration, story choices, personal Mystling quests, and twelve linked scenarios. Encounters move to tactical arenas where position, range, terrain, elemental effects, and energy shape every turn. Each Mystling has its own deck and identity; new cards are discovered over the campaign, then combined to create focused combos and new approaches to familiar enemies. Players can befriend, train, and ride the creatures they meet rather than treating every encounter as a simple fight. Combat uses hand management and a fatigue system that makes the order and timing of cards matter, while scenario rules give each arena a distinctive puzzle. Outside the story campaign, the box supports a one-versus-one arena challenge and a gameplay-forward roguelite mode for players who want repeated battles without the full narrative. Standee and miniature productions share the same core rules. The result is an approachable campaign structure with enough deck construction and tactical positioning to reward experimentation across many Mystling pairings.
