Read the full game description

Archaeology: The New Expedition is a brisk set-collection game about judging when an incomplete hoard is worth protecting and when it should become museum money. Each turn begins with a dig: treasure joins your hidden hand, a thief steals at random, or a sandstorm forces every unprotected explorer to spill half a collection into the marketplace. You may then trade treasures by printed value, sell matching sets for increasingly lucrative rewards, or spend maps to explore one chamber of the chosen monument. Six monument tiles change what waits beyond those maps, while a single tent can cancel one disastrous storm. The deck may be light, but the decisions are sharp: build a larger set for a better payout, or cash in before the desert—or another archaeologist—takes it away.
